Full system specs -> check sig

Availible memory:
2x 256 Mb Twinmos PC-3200 (Winbond CH-5)
2x 512 Mb Corsair TWINX-3200XL XMS rev. 1.2 (TCCD - Brainpower)

PC works fine with:
1x 256 Mb Twinmos in single channel (tested both sticks)
2x 256 Mb Twinmos in dual channel
1x 512 Mb Corsair in single channel (tested both sticks)

I can do >1 hour memtest with all sticks, 5 full passes without errors.

But when I put my 2 Corsair sticks in dual channel I cannot install/boot windows and get errors in test #8 in the first pass.

The orange slots were used, stock BIOS 25/01/2005.

Any ideas how to fix this?
Bios update or is my Corsair incompatible with my DFI?

Not sure it'll help, but that Venice needs 5/10 or newer for support,6/23 is official.

I don't have any troubles with my CPU.

Will check DFI forums and post problem overthere also.

What kind of voltage you using? My corsair TCCD Like 2.6V to 2.7V anything higher gives me errors in test 8.....

all tests were done @ stock voltage, cpu @ stock speed, nothing overclocked.

Try Drive Strength 5 & 7, also try swapping the the dimms the opposite way round sometimes this helps!!! :stick:

Don't forget that the memory controller can be the culprit. Try at least a new BIOS....
