First off here ar me specs
Antec Truepower II 480w PSU
P4 3.0ghz prescoott, OC@3.75ghz(watercooled)
1gb Geil Ultra Plat PC4400
Abit IC-7g motherboard
80gb western digiatal harddrive
Geforce 6800GT, OC@ 420/1120(watercooled)
DangerDen D4 pump
(2) 52X CD-RW drives
Windows XP SP2
and 3 fans
FSB 250
Vcore 1.54
Vdimm 2.8
All drivers and bios up to date.

I was watching my hardware monitor and my PSU temp was at 63C at full load, this seem very high to me, and when i am gaming my rig sometimes spontaniously resets. I am thinking of installing an old ATX PSU that i have as a second powersupply to try and take some of the load off the primary PSU.

I am thinking that these two are related does anybody have advice?

I have a Antec NeoPower 480W. Its a big hot too at the exaust part.
Im guessing the problem may be heat building up because the smart fan in the PSU only speeds up when needed.
When Im not gaming, it blows a soft breeze but its a bit hot
When Im gaming, it gets really hot and there is a better airflow

If overheating is an issue, you may have to open the PSU and change the 120mm fan to something that provides constant airflow and remains silent. You could also try unpluging the yellow wire on the fan inside your PSU. That could turn off the fan controller and maintain the fan at full speed.

Are you sure those are the psu readings? some people get that mixed up with the mosfet readings (PWM).
