Which distro?

Hey all,

I'll soon be starting a uni course which involves Linux so i thought i'd start learning, but i have no idea where to start.

Can someone suggest the best distro for a total Linux n00b? I've been told Mandrake is the best to start with?

Also, anyone know a decent website for Linux, ie. for leaning stuff, tips adn tricks etc?

I'm mostly a linux noob myself, but I first tried mandrake 8.0 and didn't like it at all.
I'm using Red hat 7.2 & 7.3. And we use 8 at work.
Red hat is probably going to be the easiest to install and learn on.

Alrighty then, i'm borrowning a copy of Suse in the new year and i might buy myselfa copy of REd Hat, see how i get on.
