this is my 3700EB fully stable

anything that could improve over what I have now and be worth spending the extra cashflow??

I do encoding and gaming mostly

dude, my 3500eb can toast that, feed them some volts and cool them down good. also your latency seems kinda slow. can we get a a64 tweaker ss?

I think they are at 3.1v now with a 120mm fan @ 7v on them

Try Trc to 7, Twr to 2, and Trtw to 2, should give a decent bandwidth boost.

So anything that can boost me to 8500 - 9000 ??? Was thinking at 9000+ would be worth the extra $$$ for the added bandwidth

that helped some thanks

for gaming and encoding with your cpu speed that ram is plenty fast i think
it all depends is 300 bucks worth 1-3% more performance??

try these settings, work great for my EB, use cas3 instead of the 2.5 it shows.

good point

I plan on adding a 4400+ at the end of the summer and up my CPU from 2.55 to 2.85 which should increase more than 1-3% just wondering if the change of ram at that point would be worth it.

I don't think anything less than 9,000 mb/s isn't worth the price. IMO

Got up to the 7300ish range stable but its right at the edge anything higher isn't 100% stable.

also got it to 42.9 ns on lat.

I have the much cheaper Buffalo dimm with micron -5B rev C and running 250HTT 2.5,2,2,5,T1 with 3.3V. Im running single Channle S754 3000+ with bandwidth just under 4000. Voltage does help but you must keep the chip temps under 65C with high voltage.

I was stuck with low profromes with 2.9V and did much better with 3.3V.

My mobo is realy cheap (SIS755) but can reach 268HTT for only $29 referbed for newegg so the ram can go much higher.

with a dual core 4400 at 2.8 or higher i would get better ram and more of it!! i would get 2gb of some good clocking ram like ballistix or the new ocz 2gb kit

42.9 ns latency seems bad as my centron budget 3200 at 215 3-3-2-7 with my cpu @ 2.8 get 43.5ns hehe my gskill get about 36ns i remember @ 315 2.5-3-3-6

at my summer 24/7 setting with 250 3-2-2-8 i get about 39.8 or so, depending how fast i run my cpu. have you tried the timmings i linked? i found those give best speed and bandwidth.
