Hi

I`ve bought ABIT IS7-E2 (socket 478, i865PE) mobo 2 weeks ago... but missing some features in BIOS. I need DMA/PIO mode switching in bios, because my CDROM got problem with UDMA2 (works well on MW-DMA 2). Also it is missing feature like "Pressing ESC after CPU and Memory Init to show up available bootable devices", and select which one to boot (got it on previous EPOX 8K3A+).. my question is: why abit hides some features on cheaper boards ? I know they are inside, but they`re hidden (tried to decompile bios)..Also I`ve contacted technical@abit.com.tw, but they sent me to flash in bios from IS7-E (which is almost identical board)... but after reflashing(whoah, it runs), my FSB got fixed (cannot change), and my Intel NIC 82559 wasn`t recognized until I turned off "Disable unused PCI" in bios.
After reboot machine still freezes (it caused Intel NIC)... maybe next time I should sent a mail to manufacturer with request for screenshot of every bios page

Thanks in advance,
