I'm currently deciding between a:

OCZ Modstream 520W from Monarch which is $74
and
Antec TP2.0 480W $99 from Newegg

My worry with the OCZ PSU is that it's single rail and has a louder fan I heard? Furthermore, it's not as good with voltage ripples as the Antec.

However, I like the OCZ for its sleeved + twisted cables. Awesome stuff. The light is nice too.

I trust Antec for stability, quietness and great stability under load. Furthermore they have dual rails.

Is there a SIGNIFICANT difference between single and dual rails? Which do you prefer?

I prefer the Antec, however if it was the powerstream then OCZ all the way.

Why not just buy the Antec and sleeve it yourself?

I'd go with the Modstream personally.

some of those 480 dual12v can't power some highend sli systems

so it boils down to what you're powering
if it's the system in sig go with the antec
i personally don't like any mod psu

Neither of them are good at all. I would suggest a Fortron AX500-A or Sparkle FSP550-60PLG, depending on what you are powering. Other good choices are the OCZ Powerstream 520w and the Seasonic S12's.

From an electrical standpoint the TPII's are good, but the fan is a joke.
