Xtreme Grand Prix - week2

the second "track" we will race this week will be aquamark3!
so better get out your seal string and get your rigs waterproof :D
again you will have one week to tweak your "fuels" (cooling) and try different sets of "tires" (drivers) to max out your machines and post a link to the orb showing your fastest round in this racetrack :D

please keep this thread on topic and only post your results once in this thread and edit your post if you have new results.if you want to discuss how you best tweak your machine for this racetrack and get your rig waterproof please use this discussion thread (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=69137) :)

again, all you have to post is a link to the orb with your highest, BUT it will of course be much more interesting if you post some infos about the run(s) :D

My final score will be with watercooling....I think this was at 2655MHz on my 4400+ and 520/1460 on my 7800GTX. I can run this at 2.8GHz, 530/1480 on stock cooling...looking for 3GHz, 570/1500 on wawa. :D

don't wory acid. at the moment we are the only 2 AXP users still left in the competition I think. all the rest didn't put in their results for bench 1 so I guess they dropped out and or are disqualified. Don't worry.. You'll overtake me in no time when it comes to SuperpI or something else thats CPU intensive.... My CPU is a poor OC'r

I got well over 100K on mine... Erm, honest! :rolleyes:

Seriously, impressed though, I have never been able to truly run Aquamark at any serious frame rates, so I never really gave it much thought till just today and I installed it and ran it again on all my boxes.


Soem are just as embarrassign as they ever were, but The AMD64 gave me 50k( ATI98p) and the barton gave me 63k ( nV68 )

Neither of these machines are seriously tweaked at all yet, so I think I will get bettert han those as they are fresh installs just last night & this morning, but I upped the AMD64 to 250FSB and re-run AM3 and I only gained 300 points, so its showed me that its much much better for GFX testing than 3DM is.

bah, this hot weather here is MURDER. nocked 20-30mhz off my GPU clocks and over 100 off my ram clocks. shoulda done this earlier in the week. Not that bad though, but still a measly 62k. *sigh* i'm screwed for this competition, nothing but mediocrity thus far.
