Heres my spec:

AMD 64 3000+ Venice
DFI Lanparty U-D
LT 6800GT
200gb SATA
OCZ Powerstream

I was going to get some OCZ VX DDR500 512x2 2-2-2-8's but BF2 seems like it runs better with 2GB...

Should I get my 1GB OCZ VX or 2GB somthing?

I want to get my 3000+ up a bit faster.. If I get 2GB I probably wont be able to OC as much so I wont need a powerstream so I could get a Hiper or somthing?

If you were me.. What would you do?

I don't have much money.. So my RAM needs to be about £140-£170.. My VX is currently £140 - I'll go to £170 if i have to..

Is there much advantage over 1GB? Will the OC sacrifice be worth it? Can i save money on my PSU if it is?

I need help.

I want to OC my processor to 2.4 ish, want 2gb and want to save money on PSU.

Obviously I cant do all but i want either 2gb and a small oc, or 1gb and larger oc.

Which would be best?

Well obviously with 1gB you'd be best off with MUSHKIN REDLINE XP4000, everyone's getting at least 265mHz...
If you decide to go 2gB for gaming, your options are a bit limited, as will your OC.

Well, Will my system benefit from the overclock or additional ram more?

I'm moving up to 2gb of the OCZ vx4000.I will run the 4 sticks for daily use and run 2 sticks for benching.I have been playing BF2 alot and i think 2gb is needed because I want to be the first in the game. :stick:

I can only afford 1 pair of sticks rather than 2 pairs...

Should i get the 4000 vx, oc and save up for another pair on the premise that i can survive with 1gb?
