is it accurate to check the vdimm voltage on smartgurdian over bios? or r they the same?

Smartguardian reads low on my mb's compared to the bios readings, that includes Voltages and temps. I'd say BIOS readings should be used over the smartguardian especially when talking about Vcore. My bios shows 1.72v, but smartguardian only shows 1.69v.
All of my rails show low too with smartguardian, but when checked with a mulitmeter they are dead on.
