Hi,
Im after some new ram as Im not liking my UTT anymore (summer heat and no fan isnt helping the clocks on it even at 3.6v)

I need ram which will do at least 260mhz 2-2-2 within 3.6v and preferably 270mhz 2-2-2 (or 2.5-2-2) as i can max my ram and cpu 1:1 then.

PC4000 REDLINE is garanteed 250mhz 2-2-2-X with 3.3v so i guess with an extra 0.3v it cud go a lot further than 260? :p:

up to £200 to spend and has to be 2-2-2- ram

thx for any feedback

My redline tops out under 260, my VX breaks 265 with 3.4V. It looks like Redline may be consistently better, but it is still luck of the draw. You really will want to consider actively cooling any of the RAM you choose, it may even help you with the RAM you have.

Geil ONE UTT will be out very soon (should be getting to shops now shortly)

Geil one UTT (http://www.geil.com.tw/portal/product_GOW5123200DC.php)

if the test samples where any thing to go by, out of the 20 samples

270+ 1.5-2-2-5 was achieved by 4-5 users
260+ 1.5-2-2-5 was achieved by 10ish users

the rest didnt test fully due to voltage limitations or their rigs being down.
but 230ish @3v and a few around 240 on socket A etc.

geil wrranty these upto 3.8v :fact:

will these perform the same on nf3 as nf4?

cos it says "Both versions of GeIL ONE have been thoroughly tested on DFI LANParty NForce4 series in our lab for compatibility, capability and stability to ensure best quality. "

I think this 3.8V warranty is a misstype.

Why would the 3.8V warranty be a typo? Other companies offer warranties up to about 3.6V...
