I notice the corsair site says this ram runs at 2.5 CAS on amd's.

http://corsairmemory.com/corsair/products/specs/twinx2048-3200c2.pdf

Is anyone running it at 2.0 CAS on an amd64?

Can you manually set it to 2.0? Or is it stuck at 2.5?

Thanks

Running mine at 2-3-2-7 @ 210Mhz. Gained a few points in Everest from switching to 7 from 5. But then again mine is the 2X512 kit.

Ronin:

I think that having either a Venice or San Diego core (or newer) will possibly allow this. I have an Athlon 64 3700+ (San Diego core) and I have Corsair Twinx2048-3200c2 (2-1GB sticks) in an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard. I'm running 2.0-3-3-8, T1 settings. With these settings I let nTune "automatically" tune the memory and as a result set the HTT to 212 which allows the CPU to run at 2332.4 MHz. YMMV. I don't know if I am lucky or not, but here is a quote from RamGuy from Corsair's technical support forum when I was informing him of my pleasant surprise:

"Actually Dave, with AMD 64 socket 939 CPU's we have seen that most were able to run at Cass 2.0 with out problems, just there is no way to single out the MB's or platforms other than AMD in general that will not run stable at Cass 2.0. I would suggest 2.7 Volts and you should be fine."

I manually set the CAS to 2.0, BTW.
