Well,
I think I've tapped out my rig and still want more. Here's the latest.
P4 2.66 @ 3360 (3dmark2001) @3440 (Max)
Swiftech MCX478 w/ DELTA
Albatron PX845PEV PRO
256mb Corsair XMS3200C2 v1.1
Radeon 9700 STOCK (clocks to 396/356)
TTGI 520W PSU
MAXTOR 40GB 7200RPM
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=5361863
Again I can do 3440 max and 3360 3dmark2001 max. It'll do about 18,7 3dmark at 1.68v
I want 20k and 3.6+ from the 2.66 AND I need to do 175+ fsb
Here's the options
1) Prometheia - with my current level of performance will it help much?
2) RAMSINKS - ok, cheap
3) GPU Coolmod
a) Swifty MCW50-T ??? Ice bucket resevoir?
b) Orb or other Air GPU hs/f
4) Radeon 9700PRO v-mods and v-mem mods
5) Gigabyte GA-8INXP GB MOBO (4400 mem b/w wouldn't hurt)
6) With above ADD 1 stick XMS3200C2 v1.1
7) I've got another MAXTOR 40GB 7200rpm, run RAID??
8) ?????

Jawood,
Well I thinkthe performance pretty much speaks for itself. Nothing can touch it for the $$
In fact I don't believe ANY 845PE Mobo would do much more...
An Abit IT7M2V2 might give slightly better voltage regulation and a LITTLE more 3dmk or Total OC ability...but not much. After all, we're talking about a 2.66 on air at 3.4+ and nearly 19k 3dmk with a stock R9700.
So, I think it's super for what it is, but I think to get to the next level, I'm gonna need a bit more...
