which camera do you recomend

i'm in the market for a digital camera i want something that takes equal quality pics to this http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?p=936032#post936032 but the only thing is i dont want one of those huge slr's i want something like the sony t-7 size what do you recomend ?? :fact:

anything the size of a sony t-7 wont take great pics. the lense power is just not there. nor will the battery power, and a bunch of other things. making a camera that small is not very easy and you loose alot when you do so in regards to picture quality and general usability of the camera.

well... I do photography and I own Canon 20d D-SLR and it is awesome BUT you said you dont want an SLR. I also own a Canon SD400 and it is very good, here is a review http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/SD400/SD4A.HTM .

I currently own a Sony DSC-T1, its a great camera...really small and compact and pretty good image quality.

I've got a Sony DSC-W1... I actually had a T1 but lost it on the way to Greece last year... I had like 4 seats on the jumbo jet all to myself so I laid all my crap out, and I guess left it there... some stewardess is pimping a T1 with pictures of my friends STi.

anyways, I know the W1 isnt exactly T7 sized but it has the same huge 2.5" screen, 5mp, and a screw ring to attach optional lenses... I got a nice wide angle lense so I can fit a lot more into the pictures.. like lots of people in one shot

i think newegg's got it for under 300 too

I have a Fuji S304,im not into "photography" and this is simple enough to use.
Also very cheap now.
