I want to get a new gig of ram and hopefully run 2-2-2@ 250+. I've narrowed it down to ocz gold, vx, or mushkin redline and was wondering which is the best. Voltage is not a problem, and feel free to tell me about different ram. thanks for any help

Mushkin beat the VX by 7mhz, but their both good so take your pick.

the only difference between the mushies and the vx is the heatspreaders. same brainpower pcb and same UTT.

ive had 2 sets of VX4000 now and both of them do ~265 at tightest timings.
id say they average between 260 and 268 ... if that helps u in your decision ...
