If any1 can help me with my RAM dilemma for my next rig I would be happy. The CPU is gonna be a AMD64 SD 3700+ and DFI NF4 Ultra-D mobo. Since I don't have that much money to spend I was thinking of a Zalman CNPS7700-CU fan and try to run it 2.7 - 2.8GHz hopefully (2.75GHz is my goal and I would be satisfied) and what I've seen about 2.8GHz is the max "safe" stable usage for 24/7 with that fan.

Now the question is, UTT or TCCD ram, I would have gone immediatly for OCZ Gold VX PC4000 if they just wouldn't have disappeared outta nowhere on www.overclockers.co.uk and run my cpu 11x250 2-2-2-5. But now the sources are lacking for those sticks... I could get it for 278 euro from another site tho which is a lot. Now I was thinking if I maybe should get G.skill LE PC4400 instead and run it as 10x275 2.5-3-3-7, tho I'm not sure about the performance difference, would it be worse? Also I considered Mushkin Redline XP4000 but it's the same case for those as OCZ Gold VX PC4000 anyways, poor avaibility.

I have also tried searching for stores located in countries such as Germany, Belgium etc. that ships within EU and where prices on the sticks seems to be lower, but I didn't like the payment options too well. What would you do if you were in my case? IMO it stinks! I hope that newegg store to europe rumour comes true.

I prefer TCCD because I have had the best results with it, but most tend to agree that UTT seems to be better.

Yes I pretty much figured NF4 and UTT is the fav but I just wonder how much difference in the performance it would be. But now I've seem to find a very good solution here. I found a site where I could get Mushkin Redline XP4000 2x512MB within EU for only 237 euro!!:banana::banana:

Thx for the replies
