Ok well i plan on overclocking and i have a 3500+ and a DFI NF4 ultra-d motherboard. Im not sure what ram to get but i squared it down to these three.

OCZ PC4000 VX
OCZ PC4800EL
Mushkin Redline XP4000

Of those 3 which should i get? would the pc4000 VX be better since it has a brainpower PCB>

IF theres better ram that i did not list, please tell me.

The OCZ PC4000 VX is a favorite among Dfi nF4 users, so you can't go wrong there. People have been getting good results with the redline as well, but I'd go with the VX.

PC4000VX for 250FSB with 2-2-2-x timings

PC4800EL for 300+ FSB with 2.5-4-4-x timings (those are rated..a lot will do 2.5-4-3-x)

You choose ;)

Well can my 3500+ even get to 300mhz is the question. I mean what if the memory controller is bad and i can only get it to 260, then the mushkin redline or ocz xp4000 would be better then the 4800el cuz it can do 260 with low timings. But then again if i could get it to 300mhz then the 4800el would be great.

Although i only have a zalman cnps, buying an xp-120 dont think ill be able to do 300mhz, so i should just stick with the VX or redline cuz of the low timings.
