I just bought some 2x512MB Twinmos SP BH5 to replace my 2x256MB Adata Selectra. Just for the fun of it I wondered what chips they are?

Written on a Selectra-sticker (_ used as spaces):

SELECTRA AD A16M
_________8 -8S
3DDI256-400/S
3030670626100071

And on the chips themselves:

Adata
20309
ADD8608A8A-5B

And on the bigger sticker on the other side:

MD0AD5F3G315B1EC2
DDR400 (2.5) 256M*8
S/N: 0308D0CH13540195

At first glance I assumed it was Micron 5b.

But the same code with a "A" in the front are V-data chips...So I dunno.

edit: after a little searching the archives here, it's been suggested they're Mitsubishi chips relabled as Adata, and Eva suggested Hynix 43.

Who knows...lol.

They seem to do decent enough at cas 2.5 though...but your upgrade was def worth it.

I sold them to a friend today. Seems hard to tell what chips they are obviously. :p:
