If they have Mushkin redline, that should do well. If u get the PC4000, with some volts they usually reach around 265 or higher 2-2-2-5. As for tccd, I'm not sure which is the best. Gskill has always been good.

Good point there with 250,260&tight timings. IMO best for A64. BTW I asked gigi to compare 333MHz@2.5-3-4-7 to 250,260@2-2-2-5 in some games and 3DMark. I hope to see some results pretty soon. But personaly I think that low timings with 250,260 MHz gonna beat that 333 and high timings. That`s A64 with it`s on-die mem controler with low latencies !

why you choose 3700? When you could take 3000Venice and OC it. And I really don`t see the reason to pick X850XT. Yeah it`s great VGA, but too price though. Why not bye 6800GT (and OC it too). For saved money yr friend could bye some nice water-cooling.

well he is not a OC if you say to him OC he puts a weird face i was thinking more a 3000 venice with a 7800gtx but he didnt like that idea so is his money is his choice i just gave him the ideas im going to see if the mushkin redline are over there thanks for all the help (i still want tccd i dont like to put a lot of vdimm in his system)

edit they have redline out stock 135$ per 512mb stick so i have one candidate another one?

well Geil ONE (TCCD) should be avaible soon.

1.5-2-2-5 DDR 400
2.5-4-4-7 DDR 600
2.85V

dual rating means, if he says he wants to overclock one day, uve got the ram for it.

all without using the DFI 5v jumper which has caused a lot of issues.

by far the best ram that is made by the companies there, as u cant have ocz or Gskills which are the only two that can stay close in the TCCD market at the mo.

ill try and get a us date for you.

targ that would be nice i have since cebit following that ram if you can get us some release dates so my friend can buy one and me too looks sweet and i like the ones that you got in your avatar with the fiber carbon look.

you get my point i want a fast ddr without using that 5v jumper tccd is the best choice if some day he wants more speed there is it waiting for him

if pqi turbo is available, check that out. still comes with tccd (not tcc5) times pretty tightly. a little pricey tho.
