I thought awhile back I read on here that someone built and sold custom headphone amps I am interested in this if so I just cannot find anything about it now on the forum... :confused:

I build headphone amps, but only for my own use. If you want to buy a custom amp, the best person I know of is MisterX, who can be found on Headfi and [H].

Just get a retail amp.. there are many you can choose.
I personally recommend audio technica amps because they are cheaper :D

check out http://www.headphone.com/ for retail amps. I know www.headwize has a bunch of people who build them. If you want to try it yourself check out http://tangentsoft.net/audio/
PS I think tangent will also build the amp for you and does excellent work. I have one of his amps and it cost 80-100 I cant remeber but it is beautiful.
