I like to use "The Gimp" (http://www.gimp.org/) . I also use the photoshop skin (http://blog.yumdap.net/archives/20-GIMPshop-for-Windows.html) for it as well.

MS has its own little update to Paint called dragon fly or somehting. I have it..looked kinda goofy but probably has some power.

It is good, even if you don't want to pay for Photoshop. I'd rather use GIMP than buy a copy of Photoshop, even if I could afford it. [/gimp_fanboyism]

lol yeah nobody wants to drop ~500$ on software....from there leads 2 paths....the dark road of piracy and the road to gimp

I use plain ol' GIMP :) I had just started using gimp at the time I posted that and was transitioning from photoshop and I thought the skin was pretty neat but now that I use the program more I find that I like the skin it comes with better. The default is easier to use by far.
