Looking to buy a new 939pin AMD, but I lost count of the cores after the winchester came out, now theres venice, sandiego, newcastle, clawhammer, etc... Which one is the most stable OC'ing wise (aircooled), and which HS/Fan combo is the BEST for 939s?

Using MSI Neo Plat 2 and OCZ el plat rev2 512x4.

Im looking at 3500+ to 3800+ speeds. Anyone object to refurbed a64 cores from newegg?

Thanks!

edit: Whats this "onboard FSB" thing about?

well, going for http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16819103539 . Which CPU cooler supports 3700+ and up?

Great choice! This is for FX55/4000+, but I am guessing it will work great for the 3700+, any real pro's know whether I am right?

The X2 is great for future performance however!

I would get an XP-90 with Panaflo fan.

Best A64 core is San Diego! :D
New FX55 and FX57 both are San Diego as well as 3700+ and 4000+ models

XP-90C, better than the normal XP-90 and even the XP-120.
