I normally use Sparkle PSU's but was looking at a raidmax...

can anyone tell me anything about this? i like sparkle because the rails are very stable under load and you can tweak them. just curious if this is stable and can be tweaked too.

tweaking do u mean changin the voltage rails using a pot of some sort? I dont think you can do that on a Raidmax...but u can definitely do that on a TTGI psu...which is $47 for a 420w at www.aicmicro.com

the case is blue.... nothing more then color :D

just got the blue chieftech and it came with the turbolink 420W.... thats what im replacing. +5v is nice but the +12 is at 11.86 idle and 11.67 under load on my IT7/2.26.... doesnt matter if im at 133 or 166fsb. im running 1:1 timings now . it goes even lower at 3:4.

if im sure i can tweak the rails like my sparkle or my old enhance id buy it.

Consider this (http://www.directron.com/tt500ss.html) PSU. Its actually a TTGI and has adjustable pot for 5v-12v.
