Hello

Some weeks ago I have made my first DI run . That wasn't even only my first run, but there has been second official (I mean posted on forums) Dry-Ice benching in Poland . ;)
I had 1700+ JIUHB, ABIT NF7, 2x256 MB BH-6 and Codegen 400W PFC PSU :D .

http://www.szuwar.neostrada.pl/di/run1/1.jpg

I made my container of 50 cm lenght, 54 mm (2') cooper tube and cooper plate - 60x80x10 mm .

http://www.szuwar.neostrada.pl/di/run1/2.jpg

I have drilled some holes in baseplate with 8mm diameter bit.

http://www.szuwar.neostrada.pl/di/run1/3.jpg

Brazing . I used bronze sticks and Acetylene-oxy torch .

Container after cleaning.

http://www.szuwar.neostrada.pl/di/run1/5.jpg

Isulation was done, with neoprene - 9mm thick .

My rig :D . I was benching in a big hall .

http://www.szuwar.neostrada.pl/di/run1/7.jpg

I picked a ice cube out from the box, which I prepared in home...normal box with styrofoam .

Breaking the block .

http://www.szuwar.neostrada.pl/di/run1/10.jpg

Pouring the ice and then acetone "pimp: .

http://www.szuwar.neostrada.pl/di/run1/11.jpg

I have thermomether for only -50*C :slapass: ...so the scale ended fast, and then never went onto mensuration scope :pimp: :wiggle: :banana2: .

http://www.szuwar.neostrada.pl/di/run1/12.jpg

http://www.szuwar.neostrada.pl/di/run1/13.jpg

OK...let's do some overclocking .. :p: :party2: ...

http://www.szuwar.neostrada.pl/di/run1/14.jpg

Ohh yeah  I like my old 1700+ ...1466Mhz@ 3006 Mhz so 105 % o/c :rehab: .

http://www.szuwar.neostrada.pl/di/run1/15.jpg

http://www.szuwar.neostrada.pl/di/run1/16.jpg

http://www.szuwar.neostrada.pl/di/run1/17.jpg

Some SPI and Sandra 2003 screens @3006-3018 Mhz/2.20V :dj: .
Also new record SPI 16M in Poland on Socket A .. :woot: .

http://www.szuwar.neostrada.pl/di/run1/3214.jpg

Max suicide screen - 3214 mhz so 119% o/c ... not bad :p:
My mobo was geting crazy with that vcore..I think it was too cold :slap: ...real vcore was still 2.20 V :) .

http://www.szuwar.neostrada.pl/di/run1/18.jpg

The lowest temperature I could seen on the measure soft :hrhr: ..

http://www.szuwar.neostrada.pl/di/run1/19.jpg

OK it's time to end this crazy play... ;)

http://www.szuwar.neostrada.pl/di/run1/20.jpg

Some frost on mounting bolts :slobber: .

Nice. Those are some nice clocks. Hopefully with the barton u might get even higher. Try bolting the board to a piece of wood for insulation. Go wood, insulation, then the mobo. Also, spray lacquer over the mobo to help prevent condensation.

@piotres

I'm glad your DI run was very fruitful :toast: Looking forward to AXP or maybe even AXP-M action  I really want to see you ripping thru SPi16M @ 3.2GHz :) That would shake 16M ranking a bit :D

BTW, :welcome: to XS. Glad to have you around!
