if i were to get 2gb of memory, how should i do it? 2x1 or 4x512? and what memory should i get? also i would be getting one of the latest processors that allow 4 slots to be filled

2x1gb would be ideal.

But 4x512 will work also.

if money is no concern go for 2x1GB ballistix @ 250mhz which can go to 275 3-2-2-x if I remember right from a futuremark post.

I just went with 2x1GB Kingston Value RAMs because they are freaking cheap and should still o/c to about ~233 x-7-7-2.5 IMO.

I prefer 4x512 ... as You're not stuck with one set of ram if you decide to go 2x512 for benching.

Not to mention the possibility of 1T is higher with 4x512.

does any1 know how the X2's handle 4x512?
