is this normal?

I think actual voltage should be around 3.4V

Have you tried reading the Vdimm in bios?

What motherboard, PSU, etc are you running?

Thanks

It's P4C800 Delux mobo, P4 2.8 northy, Twinmos Speed Premium, Antec True 480, moded, 3.3@3.7V, 5@5.5V, 12@12.5V.
I don't think thist mobo has vdimm reading and i have no idea where on mobo can i meassure vdimm.

Hmmm, with the 5V rail modded to 5.5V, you could be messing with the delivery of the voltage.....normally the booster takes its juice from the 5V rail.
Do you have a white wire in the ATX connector for the -5V? that is necessary for the readout to work properly.
Does it always read like this or just now and then?

I thing there is a white wire between all the others.
I got booster yesterday and when i powered comp it went from 18 strait up to about 40 or sth, the bios settings were set to 2.65V and booster was set to min, just like it is written in instructions.
But i didn't peform recalibration, because it was way off, so it was just strange to me.

I don't have a DDR Booster (yet?) but from pic's I've seen I can tell it uses a ICL7107 to measure voltage, now I do have a couple of those IC's and they should work fine up to 6V (Positive to ground) and -9V (Negative to ground), so I don't think that's the problem, and he must have a negative voltage otherwise it wouldn't display anything (Or something really strange is going on).
Most likely he needs to calibrate the booster...but then again I don't have one, nor do I know much about the problems you could have.

Just sharing my thoughts.

Monitoring as it self i think works, the lowest value it shows is 40 and if i raise it goes all the way up to 75 or sth, but the rams dont like anything above 62, so at the moment i am at 59/60 it work fine though.

So do i do calibration or not?

Please run 5v to the booster, running over 5V causes issues like this.
measure Vdimm on the board with a meter as you tweak and to make sure the booster is delivering the correct voltages.

lastly, have you considered modding the booster by swapping the pot to a 20turn 10k linear cermet type like the post many use to vdimm mod their boards? it makes the booster a lot more stable.

i really don't care what are the numbers i thought it could be sth wrong.
I'd really prefer upped voltages, better stability and ocing.

Do you have a link to mod/mods that could help fix my problem.
