Ugh, I know I've done this many times, but it's so difficult. haha

I am close to purchasing my new system, but I am having trouble deciding which memory to purchase. I have a few memories in mind, including G.Skill LA, LE, and Mushkin Redline XP4000.

Although most say it is a great memory, I have heard a few people have had recent problems with G.Skill LA. I have also heard that many people are getting very good results with the Mushkin Redline XP4000 at extremely low timings. I do not want my memory purchase to be a hit or miss. I indefinitely want to get a high memory overclock (at least 285FSB) with decent timings (CAS 2.5 at least). Should I choose between Mushkin Redline XP4000 Redline, G.Skill LA, G.Skill LE, or something else? It's cheapest price from anywhere on the net must be under $275. Thanks.

Tentative specifications for my new system:

Processor – AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (Venice)
Motherboard – DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D
Memory – G.SKILL 1GB (2 x 512MB) F1-3200DSU2-1GBLA
Power Supply – SEASONIC S12 500W
Video Card – Sapphire Radeon X700 128MB
Case - Antec P180
Heatsink – Zalman CNPS9500-Cu

You need TCCD for a 3000+/3200+ Venice ... Unless you're going 3500+ or higher, Redline will mean limited clocks for you...Though you may run a divider with the ram so you can get Redline, it wont be the same as 1:1 ... so yea I'd recommend the LA. If you have faulty sticks, I'm sure Gskill will replace them for you :)

Gskill LA all the way :D
