hey im looking to get a 2x1gb setup on my dfi ultra-d has anyone done any overclocking with this ram or know of a review or what chips it ueses

it looks pretty good even at stock with those low latiency but i would like a overclockable set and ballistix pc4000 are out of my price range altho i would love those hehe

anyways if someone could chime in or give advice id appreciate!!

btw im not interested in a 4x512 setup because i dont want to run 2t timings

I have a pair. I'm sorry if this hurt PDP, but they don't overclock for a sh*t. Go and buy the crucial PC4000. You are guaranteed a DDR500 speed and the timing may be better if you are lucky. I saw a guy selling them for $124.99/1GB each on e-bay. Crucial sells them for about $190 something IIRC.

afaik the only ones that overclock are the crucial ones. just run a divider. thats what i plan on doing.
