the first benchmark we will run in the competition will be anounced here at the same day the competition launched, the launch date is not set yet, but will be anounced here, as well as on the front page, so keep checking this thread and the front page so you dont miss the launch. :D

we will close this thread after the week for the first benchmark is over, and will open a new thread for the week two results, etc...

the grand prix has started! :D

the first "track" we will race this week will be 3dmark2003.
you have one week to tweak your "fuels" (cooling) and try different sets of "tires" (drivers) to max out your machines and post a link to the orb showing your fastest round in this racetrack :D

please keep this thread on topic and only post results and dont start a discussion in here, we are around 100 people and things would get messy :D
please only post once in this thread and edit your post if you have new results instead of making a new post for each update, thx :)

if you want to discuss how you best tweak your machine for this racetrack please use this discussion thread (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=68429) :)

all you have to post in this thread is a link to the orb with your highest result so far, BUT it will of course be much more interesting if you post some infos about the run(s) :D

The best i can muster :( Its too damn hot in here, have had no time this week (new job and new house) and the power lead for the boosters gone AWOL.
All specs in ORB compare, differs to the proposed system in the reg thread, 9800pro isnt happy atm, power connector is burning out.

On a happier note, appears to be #1 9500pro on the orb, and the only 64mb anywhere near the top. Sucks in mother nature though, must be the crappy 64mb.

About all I can get...with those drivers. If I use the 77.72 drivers I can get 5798 points, but their not FM approved for the FX series :(

I think I can get some more out of the core however. run was done at 2.4ghz, 230x10.5. RAM was running 1:1 3-3-3-10 2.8v 470/359 I believe was my video card clocks
