Same stuff as VX, but without the 3.5v warranty and perhaps using BH-UTT rather than CH like the VX?

I wonder what the MSRP is?

Pc3500 2-2-2-5 at 2.8V. Very impressive

How so, any good BH5/BH6 will do 220+ on 2.8volts. In my opinion this is still conservative and really no better than rating it at PC3200/2.6v. Seems like more of just a marketing competitor for Mushkin XP3500.

Be interesting to see some tests... only waranteed upto 3.1v +- 5% though

Pc3500 2-2-2-5 at 2.8V. Very impressive

my value vx w/ bh-5 can do those speeds at less voltage than that, but it being binned as 3500 at those timmings and voltage is impressive somewhat]

it does have decent warrenty, not 3.5 +-5% but still a good warrenty...
http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/memory/ocz_el_ddr_pc_3500_gold_gx_dual_channel

3.1vdimm give or take 5% which means they should cover the warrenty up to 3.255vdimm

those rated speeds, timming, and voltage makes it smell like BH-5 but maybe another CH revision, lol :p:

I'd love to hear what an OCZ rep has to say about these. A few things I'd like answered...

BH-UTT or CH-UTT?

Differences between this and the VX?

What to expect overclocking-wise? Better than PC3200VX?

Seems like more of just a marketing competitor for Mushkin XP3500.

this pretty much sums it up, buuuuut non extreme members/regular joes would love this since there are actually production boards aside from the dfi nf4 that supply this voltage w/o modding unlike the requirements for vx/redline counterparts

we're all aware that there are better out there, so such comments are pointless...

ocz is just tryin to tailor to a group that isnt us...so i doubt they are trying to impress (if things get more impressive than redline/vx 4000 then :slobber: )

Is good to see that, performing speed binning... I'd like to see PC4400 2-2-2-5 in a near future! :p: :D

BH-UTT or CH-UTT?
obviously BH UTT since CH UTT can't do 433 @ 2.8v with those timings

thats what a say, but hey.. you never know...

and there isnd much speed difference between 433 and 400, the OCZ PC3200 gold is BH-5 and the OCZ PC3200 VX is CH-5, so why come out with 433 unless its a marketing ploy or some or of different chip or something... i mean yea, its binned as "faster" memory, but who couldnt tack on an extra ~17 mhz to their ram easily especially coming from the PC 3200 gold or vx

just had a thought.... TCC5?! low voltage somewhat and nice tight timmings, i know BH-5 would do it, but PC3500 of BH-5 would just be a marketing scheme really and i dont see OCZ doing that, but it could be TCC5, i mean 3.1v is really pushing it for those chips (as far as i know) but thats just a possibility for them to put TCC5 on "slower" ram and remarket it... just a half baked thought :)

BH-6 >.> im running out of ideas

DH-5 hahahaha, lol, no by the charts it would be an even smaller process, soo, nah... :slap:

I wish that stuff would run in an NF7-S

i have no problem with my Value Series OCZ from them, it has the BH-5 chip on it... 230, 2-2-2-5, memtest stable at 2.7vdimm, and windows stable at 2.9vdimm... this is at 2T, NF2 dosent like double sidded ram at 1T

binned gold bh-utt?That would be my guess, but who knows at this point. I agree its prolly targetted to non-OCers.

Maybe I'll try my other UTT at 2T.... never even considered it before.

I'm fairly sure it's UTT BH-5. There are two dimples on the chips and two metal thingers sticking out the bottom of the IC's. Have a look for yourself...

I don't think there should be any doubt about it being BH-UTT. CH-UTT doesn't do 2-2-2-5 @ 2.8V consistently enough to be able to release a line of RAM spec'ed at that, but BH-UTT does.
