Which Venice 3000+ Should I Get?

Hey. I am aiming to reach a very high overclock. I have looked at the Venice Overclocking threads, and I am not sure which stepping to ask for when I get my new Venice 3000+. From what I have seen, the best are:

CBBLE 0504DPAW
LBBLE 0517EPAW (many good results with this)
CBBLE 0512DPBW (many good results with this)
CBBLE 0512DPAW

or should I just ask for any week 17 or any week 12?

Please name others that I can ask for in case these are not in stock. Thanks.

week 17 seem to all do well so i dont think you can go wrong with those. may i ask where your getting your cpu ?

No!!!

Not all 0517 do well! I had a 0517 GPPW which in plain and simple words sucked butt. I would take a low batch number 0517, preferably a APDW or EPAW.

EPAW, DPMW and DPBW seem best to me

PC Club (you can call and ask for whatever stepping you want) or I might get it from a local store and hand pick it myself. (whichever is cheaper, I will do)

I've also heard that week 15's are good. Can someone tell me which week 15's are good, please? Also, if good week 17's are not available at the computer store, what should be my 2nd and 3rd choice?

there's hardly any week 15s for 3000+

you know where the Venice stepping + OC database is, right? that's where im checking and it should answer all of your questions...
