It's been a long time and I'm completely out of the loop. I stopped checking up on computer stuff at the beginning of senior year and now that I finally graduated I'm completely ignorant. It just so happens that my parents are giving me 1.5-2k to spend on a system. What's the new tech nowadays? SLI? 2 gigs of ram? Any BH5 left? I want to build a complete system that is the best bang for the buck in that price range and I plan on overclocking everything. Anyone have any suggestions?

Oh yea, should I buy now or wait 1 month? I'm going on vacation till July 17th and is there going to be any significant changes by then? Thanks a lot guys :)

If its 1.5 to 2k, I'd go with the AMD Showcase Rig :)

Hmm I see... is there somehow I can fit SLI in there and I'm assuming that table takes into account the overclockability of all the procs right?

It's sooo... nice... the... chart... :slobber: :slobber: :slobber: :slobber:

Lol ty, though the beauty of the chart can only be admired best when it is right clicked and saved for personal use :) If you wish to fit SLI, I'd take the DFI SLI-DR mobo and two PCI-E 6800GTs (~$400each) or 6600GTs ($200 each).
