Well it was about f*cking time, 300mhz 2.5-4-4-* has been around for so long now ;)
Maybe these sticks don't even use TCCD, TCC5 or other Samsung chips at all, maybe hynix has some new chips, who knows?

Not according to people in the know, what says different? tcc5 is off the same line as tccd but technically cant be called the same, hell even OCZ admit they dont use Tccd in their 3200 EL Rev 2 anymore

Maybe those people in the "know" are not that well informed, I will not speculate as to why OCZ don't use TCCD, but the facts of the matter are TCCD is still being manufactured! any notion to the contry is pure FUD.

Corsair is being supplied with TCCD as was confirmed over at The House Of Help... follow the links if you dought me.

Corsair pre-buyed a big quantity of TCCD ICs for their XMS4400C25PT.
THat's why they still have TCCDs.

No, the GeIL DDR 700 won't surpass the 280E spot :)

I'll let you know asap

So I guess we should belive you more than the official Corsairs representitive?

As I said before all XMS4400C25 and XMS3200XL modules use Samsung TCCD IC's. Corsair uses TCC5 RAMs only on other speed grades, such as the XMS3200C2 and XMS4000. Note that Samsung did not stop producing TCCD IC's, they just stopped shipping them to non direct suppliers. Or in other words we still get a large quantity every month and will do so for some time to come.

http://www.houseofhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39173That means bugger all mate, like the post above says corsair being one of the big boys could have easily bought huge amounts of tccd and still have enough for certain lines, but the best bet would be to ask Samsung i guess

You didn't get my point exactly,

Pre-Buyd also means, par example:

I order 1.000 parts, and gettin' 'em by lets say 350 per month.
Or every month's need...

whatever...

My contact in GeIL is pretty busy at the moment, but hopefully in 1-2 days I'll have the sticks & also the answer to your questions ( prices, availability, release date, ICs used, etc )

I'll keep you informed :)
