Ok it is only marginally vmod related, but I seem to have knocked a resistor off my Epox 8K7A. It was a resistor night near one of the socketA holes labeled LA6. As far as I can tell, all the LA series of resistors are white. No numbers on them or anything that would make identifying them simple though. I can't seem to dig up any reference to the coloration of surface mount resistors. Can anyone make a recommendation? If no one has a reference I will just desolder another one and measure it I guess. For future info it would be nice to know what all the colors meant for surface mount parts, however.

email epox tech support.. they seem to reply, so maybe they could answer that for you?

Ok I pulled off another one nearby, and got 0 ohms resistance. I assume this must be a shunt or soemthing. So I just used a jumper wire to connect them and bam the system booted and seems to work again. I have a Duron 700 and an S3 vid card in there now tho to be safe :)
