Enermax 535W Whisper II EG565P-VE FMA V2.0 - SLI Ready:$83:
http://www.gameve.com/gve/Store/ProductDetails.aspx?sku=PS-ENERMAX-535

My Choices:

(1) The PC P&C 850 SSI: $469

(2) The ENERMAX Noisetaker 600W EG701AX-VE SFMA 2.0 SLI-Certified: $151:

(3) The Enermax 535W EG565P-VE FMA V2.0 SLI-Ready: $83

The Enermax EG565P-VE FMA V2.0 @ $83 is the cheapest PS,
I can recommend for SLI & is NOT in the the same class as the PC P&C's or OCZ's.

SEASONIC S12-600! It's the best deal! It's basically silent as well! WHY SPEND $229 on a PC P&C 510 SLI when the difference is extremely minute?

Hey, Dave, I just joined up here at XS, yesterday. I'm originally from EOCF, guys. I chose the Enermax 600w to be the psu for my new rig, which I plan on ordering next week, sometime. http://hyperpcz.sebszhost.com/buildtemplate.html

The Seasonic looks pretty good, if you rated it "very quiet!" What would be the catch, though, compared to the others?

The Enermax is a fine PSU & is quiet enough for me.

If you want to save some money,
the Antec True Power II 550W is also SLI Certified & only $89 at new egg.

Nuclear power plant should be enough. Well not just yet, but the way things are going.

Seasonic S-12 600W -- the price is right and you can't beat the quiet.

Getting the tt 680 watt, was a choice beteen the enermax 600 watt and thermaltake 680 wattThat is a super bad idea, TT = CRAP, Enermax = Quality & nVidia SLI Certified. :fact:

Seasonic is better than Enermax in that its even more quiet. Stability is approximately the same. Antec = super tight voltage regulation, but less wattage. The individual rails look really nice for Antec though. They dedicate 18 amps for each rail at the 480W version already, and that's already a few more than the Seasonic 500. So I'm guessing the 550 should be enough for an SLI rig.

IMHO the Seasonic S12 600w is the dogs bollocks (I now have two). It is extremely quiet and was very highly rated by Toms hardware PSU torture test.
