I just got a TI500 and I'm quite itnerested in getting TEC cooling for this one. I will be using a CPU cooler to cool it. I have a few questions:

- Is 56W or 72W enough for a TI500 ?

- Is it safe to use TEC cooling 24/7 ? Or is it safe for about 2 hours of benchmarking in the middle of the night ?

Thanks :)

24/7 works just fine:) (if your PSU is rated to handle it)

I have a 430W Antec Truepower so I hope that will be enough :)

What should I go with ? 56W or 72/80W ? I'm not sure how much power this Ti500 uses...

80W Pelt is the best choice :D ...

OK thanks so I'll get that then..........

but I"ll be using a CPU cooler on that, not water. What cooler do you think will be ok for that:

- An AMD stock cooler
- A P3 cooler
- A FOP32/FOP38 (not sure if I can still get one of those....)

The FOP32/38 is probably the best choice out of the coolers that you listed. I'm actually planning on someday putting a CAK-38 on mine, when I get around to it. The second best is probably the AMD stock cooler.

72W might do the job, but id get a 80W tec, g3 cards produce about 40-50W in 3dmode

No they dont. If a Ti4200/4400/4600 produces 22watts, a GF3 based card would produce between 15 and 18 watts at most.

K I'll get a 80W, as I want to use it on future cards as well ;) (will get a 9700 Pro soon heheh)

Is this combo all I need ?
