Just saw that DD added Laings new D5 pump to thier chart!
Any opinions on it?

You didnt answer his question...so IS the MCP655 a good pump for the price ?

Isn't 655 about the same price as (if not a bit cheaper than) 50z?

Personally I think the D5/MCP655 is a very good pump for the price.
Isn't 655 about the same price as (if not a bit cheaper than) 50z?
Both are $75.

Yeah I'm curious as well because I'm using DDC and I don't think it has enough power.

i have the mcp655 and it is a very good pump and is quite powerful (more powerful than mag3 and ehiem 1250). it is defintely worth the money.

yes its a good pump. only issue i have with it is the heat dump is a little high.
