Overkill? (http://www.overclockershideout.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=o&Product_Code=RAS&Category_Code=WB)

LOL. Why...? aren't heat spreaders enough? Sheesh...

I've heard that they reduced the flow and that you won't get proper cooling on the cpu and else.

Before I paid that sort of money for those I'd want to try attaching fined heat sinks for a fan to blow over and cool. MUCH lower cost, and I doubt you'd see a improvement large enough to warrant paying for those fancy water coolers.

Havn't tried it but still doubt the value of even the finned heat sinks. But would be a much lower cost way of knowing for sure for one's self.

Yeah, even the Thermal Take ram sinks and the thermal take active cooling mem kits dont make too much difference, bout 2-3 degrees celsius and ram doesnt really need more than heatsinks
water cooling ram is, i agree, overkill (past xtreme!)
