Hi all,

I recentley moved from an Antec 430W to a Akasa 460W Pax Power ATX2 as the rails were supposed to be better.

With the truepower i had both the 5V rail low, and the 12V rail.

After installing all of my paxpower, i noticed the 5v rail had gone up from 4.72 (on the antec) to 4.92V. The 12V rail (was 11.71V on the antec) and now its the same.

Surley the 12v rail is too low? I must have done something wrong, but what?!?!

Please help :(

p.s: My graphics card does not use a pci-e connector, and the 24pin is in the motherboard, along with the 12v.

use a meter to measure the voltages, not software, will give much more accuate results :)

well you need to get one, software readings dont mean anything.

Ok :) As long as the systems stable, nothing can go wrong like burn, to much voltage or anything like that 2 damage hardware?

well yeah, since Akasa is a good brand everything should be ok. But its still a good idea to get a DMM they're only $15-20.
