I have one gig of PC3700 EB, should I get another gig?

I have 2x512 of OCZ PC3700 EB Platinum. I also have a Winchester 3500 and a DFI Ultra. Should I get another 2x512 for 4x512? I'd upgrade to be totally prepared for BF2.

Also, can someone describe the downsides to upgrading to 4x512.
