Hi
I am about to buy some Ram and my choice came down to these modules (all 2x512mb):
Patriot pc3200 XBLK
OCZ ddr3200 Platinum rev 2
Mushkin pc3200 level II v2 or maybe the new Mushkin ddr3200 extreme perf (level II v3)

I tend to take the Patriot since the OCZ has TCC5 instead of TCCD's inside now and the Mushkin (v2) doesn't go that high - correct me if I'm wrong - and I haven't heard anything about the new one.
Furthermore, I do plan on buying a new mainboard sometime with so939 but my current mainboard cannot give a high voltage (up to 2.8v) and the voltage booster is not compatible with it - I got a NF7s2, too but I prefer the Leadtek

Another thing is I cannot test the memory right now and return it if it doesn't work, since I'm an exchange student here in the US but it's a lot cheaper here so I got to buy some...
I would be very thankful for a few tips and opinions :)

I think if those are you choices that the Patriot would be my first choice.

i briefly had a 512mb stick of Patriot XBL. it was pretty slick. i didn't overclock it though because it was in a budget P4 system but i could definately feel the difference in windows loading apps and such.

for me, it's a toss up between the OCZ and Patriot...

EDIT: oh, and welcome to XtremeSystems :toast:

Thanks, ye, that's the choice I came down to after searchin all kinds of forums and tests and just wanted to make sure if this is the best for my system or if there maybe something else for ~200$ that's as good or better, cause I wanted some low-latency memory for my current system with the oportunty to use it on a future system where a high fsb is necessary

I got a set of OCZ plat Rev2's last monday, and they hit DDR600 with pretty much the tightest timings I could use TRCD 4 at, so I dont think you should completely throw out the option of OCZ chips, just because they may or may not contain TCC5, as we can see, they still keep up pretty nicely :D
Edit: Stupid me, forgot to take a CPU-Z screenshot with the SuperPi 32MB but the SuperPi screen is 300x8

I just stumbled across that G.Skill pc3200GH thread from Onepagebook (in Extreme Bandwith), that stuff sounds interesting too, cause it can do both low latencys at low voltage and low latencys at a higher fsb with high voltage...hm

TCCD sticks are more expensive than the new BH-5 or UTT sticks, so if you change your mind after you get TCCD, you should be able to sell or trade it for an even swap.
