I was just wondering if it is possible to remove wires from your PSU that you dont use. Just to clean things up and so that there are so many unused wires in the case.

You could probably take the wires out from the base by just heating them up with a soldering iron and pulling out the wires. Wouldn't recommend just cutting them.

Cut them a few inches from the PS case & heatshrink or electrical tape the ends.
Save the remains, you may want them someday.
I'd tape them on the back of the PSU.
So you can't see them and you can use them whenever you want.
