I'm not looking to mod anything but rather find a nice big roomy case that I could work easy in and fit a peltier setup in it as well. The antec dragon cases are nice but it seems like they waste a lot of room with the harddrive cages. Any suggestions? What company should i look at?

If you otherwise like the dragons, why not remove the 3 1/2 cages and use 5 1/4 to 3 1/2 adapters to mount the HD(s) in the upper bays. The cages pop right out.

Can't recommend any particular brand right now, I have an eclectic taste in cases - the last one I bought that I really liked was a small NCR server case. I just bought a dragon last week and it's an OK case, good basic airflow.

How hard is it to actually get the cage supports on the bottom off?

Check out the cases at XTW (http://www.xtwerkz.com/). They're a decent seller and I've bought the at821 for a customer and was impressed with it.:)

To take the lower cages off of a dragon, flip a lever and pull. Screwless.

I'd remove the stamped fan grills (cut them off) and use wire grills or none if you buy it.

The one I got is here http://www.directron.com/da01sld.html
It's fairly popular and it's plenty big enough to fit my radiator, pump and resovior in without space problems.

Maybe you can find the Lite-On FS020 case somewhere, there's nothing bigger than that, you can fit another case in that case if you want.

I've just built a PC up for a friend using the Antec/Chieftec TA-10 case. THats the full tower one!

They are a pleasure to work with, loads of space, very vyer big, pleanty of fan mounts.

Only thing is you don't get a removable mobo tray with it. Other than that, very very good cases/

I agree with gobbo, after getting myself a Chieftec Dragon Full Tower ive been very impressed, as he says, only problem is non-removable mobo tray but hell- tons of fan mounts! a lot of space and easy access to everything
