I run my TECs 24/7. As long as the power supplies are rated to handle the load, there should be no problems.

Well I was looking into getting the the swift tech blocks... they look like an easy way to get into peltiers and was just wondering if the mean well 25a powersupply will be sufficient for both?

Finally a forum where people know there :banana::banana::banana::banana: and respond fast

I just found out about that place after checking out this site. Hows the business and customer support from them?

Welcome to Xtreme!!!:D

I've had nothing but great experiences out of Xtw. Plus they've been supporting our folding team for a while now. :)

Got my swiftech blocks from COOLTECHNICA.com. Reseller ratings in the 9's with hundereds of comments, all good. And the cheapest. I've ordered from them 5 times and everytime they shipped the same day as i ordered.

My TECs also run 24/7 without a problem.

I can also endorse XTW as a great place to do business with:)

I've left my Swiftec MCX462+T "air-TEC" on 24/7 for months now without a problem. Like KnightElite said, as long as your power supply can handle it I wouldn't be too worried.

Hi guys, I'm a TEC noob :p To run 24/7, do you need to use stuff like Closed Cell NeoPrene Rubber to prevent condensation ?

Yes you do, if you purchase the Swiftech tec they supply all gaskets needed for the socket. You of course still have to fill the socket and pin holes with dielectric grease. Some other companies also supply gasket material.
