i have 2x512mb of OCZ PC3200 Platinum rev2 ram that LOVES voltage. i cant get it stable after about 2months of testing timings, bioses, ect., and have come to the conclusion it just needs the voltage!

its on a dfi nf4, should i give the voltage to it? im running 3.2v right now, looping memtest #5 the chips are at 35C...not too bad imo!

will this stuff just die one day if i give it over 3.0 or 3.1v? would i be safe to go above 3.2v, such as 3.3 or 3.4v?

could just be an odd case of tccd that needs the voltage?

thanks!

Above 3.2 is probably getting into the high range for TCCD but if you are actively cooling them, going higher shouldn't pose you any problems in the future.

3.0V is just nice for newer TCCDs.

whats max for 24.7 use on tccd? active cooled, temps under 40c load, 3.3v or so?

if a computer component responds well to voltage i think it's safe to say that it won't kill it.

our bh-5 likes 3.6v so we give it to it. it doesn't respond well (much more oc) to 3.9v so we don't run it at that. same with processors. i have 431 tccd that likes 3.3v. i have never run it for more than benching so i don't have 100% answer for you sorry, but i wouldn't be afraid to run it at 3.3v with active cooling.

My 2x256MB TCCD 449 ( Corsair C2PT ) need only 2.7v for 300@2.5-3-3-6, 2.8v for 305@2.5-3-3-6, but 3.0v for 320@2.5-4-3-5 and 3.2v for more. This couple can hit 34x@2.5-4-3-5... Yes ! TCCD 449 loves voltage

Same here, my OCZ Rev.2 TCCD (I don't know the year+week number) does 300Mhz @ 2.7v and 310Mhz at 2.8v. I've not tried for any higher Mhz yet though.

wonder if my 437 also love voltage...with up to 2.9v they don't oc much

btw what theme do you use?

Flyakite and Royale theme :D...

TCCD 437 wanna "eat" more voltage, U need more cooling 4 ur rams...

yep, same here.

my old gskill - tccd 440 love voltage like your rams, they work fine at 300mhz 2.5-4-3-8, and after 2 months the rams die, so i dont think that you should work 24/7 with high voltage.

This could be good TCCD that loves volts now the timmings just need to be tighter!!

Don't get tccd over 2.9 for long period using.
