The Maserati Ghibli Cup was made for racing in 1996-1998 there was built 50 of them. But the factory desided to join Formel 1 with Ferrari, so the Ghibli Cup was history....

Some xtreme like me have these racingcars now. There are only 22 left.
The specifikation was 330 Hk from a 2 liter biturbo! I have the latest built one from 2001 thats 380 Hk :p:
it takes the 1265 kg to 100 km/h in 4.8 sek and 200 km/h in 15.0 sek topspeed is depending on tires around 300 km/h.

Here in the next month I make money for the Cancerfoundation in Denmark last year we made 250.000,- kr

the 360 challenge stradale is 425bhp and 1280kg so should be alot faster than the ghibli in the same hands, but the normal "cooking" 360 with 400bhp and 1390kg would be more evenly matched. they are nice cars thoguh and its nice to see some taking care of the less loved modern preferrari maseratis

No need to talk bad about the Stradale. It's a nice car.

My Ghibli Cup have 380 Hk @ 7200 rpm and goes 408 Nm at 6400 rpm (300.28 lb ft)
The Stradale "only" 276 lb-ft @ 4750 rpm
The Stradale :425 bhp is at 8500 rpm, I go 440 bhp (overboost) at 8200 rpm.

Soo its the stradale i'm "hunting" not the "flat" 360 :cool:

Not important; putting gasolin in the first picture. Normal drive 5 km/ liter and Racing 2 km / liter...So the 80 liter tank have to bee refuel a lot... :rolleyes:

I had no breaks unfortuantely, but saw pics in the paper :) I spent my time watching "The Best of Sjælland" (which isnt really much) drive around on motorbikes :rolleyes:

The track is not very long. The max speed was about 168 km/h (messured in the track) The Ford GT40 was a little faster about 175 km/h and the fastes was the Lambo Gallardo going 186 km/h
Last year the Enzo was fastest, going 215 km/h ................(after the race-day Enzo's brackes was finish..they cost about 40.000 Dkr :( )

Around the track the Maserati can follow the fastest cars. The grib is extreme.

"jyske bank" wanted to support us, but we give money to the cancerfondation, so money from de bank was not so interesting.

Then they gave os a loan for the Gallardo for 5 years. We don't have to pay anything and the Lambo will be sold at that time, the "missing" value is "jyske banks" problem

Nice and free car, they also pay for the insurance.... :D

The car cost about 3.3 mill Dkr.

PS: And I am not costumor in the bank ;)

thats not crazy version is the MR FQ 400 they are sold in UK... and some ppl says the lambo suffers from oversteer badly and well isnt a v12 when lambo was proud of their only v12 line... go figure

I'm waiting for my turn in the Enzo, Maserati M12, F40 and the F50 :D ... either one i'm happy. Problem is in HK left hand drive cars can't get insured and can only be registered on the road for one day at a time. So those cars rarely get to stretch their legs :(

I also want to try the Bugatti Veyron, i have a friend that was one of the test drivers. He said that the Bugatti was only 14seconds slower than his track JGTC Skyline, around the Fuji circuit, and amazing fun to drive.
