Hi guys, I have a few questions about my future watersetup. I'm planning on buying a swiftech MCW462-UT and MCW50-T or MCW 40-T.
- Which GPU cooler cools better you think?
- I'll probably buy a black ice II rad and 2 papsts 120mm fans (82.4CFM), and if it's necessary : a black ice pro also. Will this be enough to cool my water so the tecs won't get too hot?
- I live in Belgium and the only dedicated powersupply available nearby is this one :
Mean Well 200 watt industrial PSU SP-200-24
DC output = 24volt by 8,4A
The 24volt is manual adjustable +/- 5%
Special PSU for use with the DRIFT-0.8

Would this be enough to power those 2 tec's ?

tnx a lot.

That PSU won't work, its a 24v unit you need a 14v unit that can put out at least 25A...the 226 pelt that comes with the 462 need around 24A and the the one with the 40 and 50 is smaller and can be run off your system PSU.

Question. I'm looking at getting the MCW50-T and I"m wondering what to do for power. I have an Enermax 550W PSU right now and I know I'm not using nearly all the power... Is it possible I could run off this or would I need a separate PSU for the pelt?

The MCW40T and 50T actually have molex connectors to hook them right up to the system PSU.

Which do you suggest then?
And are those 2 rad's enough for a 226W + 80W pelt?

I have a pretty big heater core (10x5x2) with those same Papst fans. I don't know how well the BI2 works, but with just a 226W pelt my water stays about ambient +7C. I run full load 100% of the time. My CPU holds about +2C
