Hi all !!

I may get 2 Xeon 2.8Ghz 533fsb. I think they are SL7 (M0)
Should they overclock great with an Asus NCCH-DL ???
They should be watercooled with Swiftech waterclock, Swiftect dual 120mm Rad., Iwaki MD-10 agnetic pump. I plan using 1gig OCZ rev2, powerstream 520w, 6800GT...

What's the average clock ?

I'm new to duallies...

Thanks !

Kind of late to reply, yes, but still ;-)
Best Xeon overclockers are 2.4, either M0 or Low Voltage.
The 2.8 should still OC nice, but not as nice (25% max).
I doubt you'll get > 3.6 even with higher voltage.
3.6 should be easy to hit, by simply raising FSB.

i doubt youl get 3.6 stable myself, i think 3.4 could be obtainable but 3.6 is a push.

My 3.2 2MB MO's do 3.6 on 1.44V, would go higher but the dang PC-DL does not have it in it to give default voltage. So I would not see a problem with the 2.8's to go to 3.5-3.6. I would set the multiplier to 17 and clockgen the FSB to 210'ish.

SL6XK....2.4v LV Xeons will go to 3.6 with about 1.5v and 3.8+ with 1.6v. :)
