I'm only going to be using 2x 512mb at a time. I ordered 3 as a precation in case 1 stick sucks.

Good luck with the new RAM Scribble :toast: I see it's gotten less expensive than a few months ago and than the Blue Line is now. :eh: Hope you hit your 250M 2-2-2 goal :D

Whilst you wait, might help ya to peruse through the latter half of this sticky (http://xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=49229) to gather some starting points for timings/voltages ;)

Thanks for the link! What codes should I look for on the chips to find out what they are? Are they on the chip itself?

AA4T = UTT (improved CH-5)?
1A4T = New BH-5?

I have a couple of those sticks on the fedex truck too scrible, they should be UTT BH-5 that is what everyone has been getting from Newegg lately

Yes, those are the proper codes, they are on the DIMM sticker :)

Here's a pic for reference :D

Notice also the two metal heat spreader tabs sticking out from either side of the top edge of the chips and two dimples on top surface. The part number on the chips are TMD7608F8E44D. My 3 sticks are 05064 date codes ;) They still sit in my "to be spanked" collection :lol:

I thought that only the pc3500 stick were bh-5. I just had one of my sticks die on me and have sent back to newegg for rma. Are the pc3200 now coming with bh-5? If so maybe I'll get one of those on my return.

Yes, I got some Speed Premium 3200 sticks from newegg last week, and they were indeed BH-5 IC's. I think you should get the same if you order, depending on how large their stock is. I think TwinMOS's website says that they are CH-5 sticks, but I dunno.

Make sure you get the speed premium though as i've seen a lot more misses getting the normal or dual channel stuff.

Update! I received them today.

I am still tweaking but cannot seem to run 2x 512 2-2-2 @ 220mhz at ANY configuration. They will run 240 2-2-2 standalone though. What could be my problem?

They are 1A4T and say BH-5 on the chips.
