View Full Version : Firefox 1.0.4 security update released!

It fixes the favico javascript security hole, so it's now perfectly safe to enable javascript again! Yay! Although, like all aviary tree releases, it's horrificly slow compared to the trunk builds :( Still, it works, and is very secure!

its a damned shame mozilla hasent figured out that patches work better than fully reloaidng the firefox browser, i bet there are some fools out there with 2-3 versions of the fox installed on their computer :rolleyes:

I have over 30 builds of Firefox on my computer including the first publicly released version (Phoenix 0.1). Beat that ;)

might i ask why? I have one browser install on this rig and it isnt the fox.

I have them mainly for benchmarking. The browser in my sig is the fastest I have, and stable enough for daily use. I never use official releases for anything other than benchmarking or testing.

you are the first person ive heard of benching browsers, that is xtreme.
