Any euro Vmodder present to "teach me the ropes?"

as the title said, I'm looking for like a mentor :) I can solder decently at the moment with my 30Watt soldering Iron but I need someone who can show me what is what, how its best to do somethings, where you can measure voltages best and easiest .....


Not trying to compete with our "commercial" vmodders, I just like soldering and tinkering with electronics :)

Im working on some guides ATM.

I just need to find something to mod and photograph. new X800xtpe will be here soon, sounds like a likely victim.

I think basic soldering may be first, might write a multimeter guide as well.

Yea if you do a guide make sure it covers everything for new people. Especially using the pots and which legs to use, how many turns to start out with, how to figure that out, how to know what kind of pot to use.

Malves guide looks to do a good job of the basic soldering and attaching the pots.
